The children of John Alexander Janes and Susan Catherine Derry married almost exclusively into the Hopping line. Three of their sons were married to three Hopping sisters.  Another son and daughter were married to a Hopping brother and sister who were cousins to the first three sisters. Two more of the daughters of John and Susan Derry Janes were married to uncles of the Hopping sisters. Confused yet?  There is more!  A brother and a niece of Susan Derry Janes were also married with these Hopping siblings!
