Clara 1st married Elmer Fellows and divorced. He was an interior decorator and painter. They married in 1891. She 2nd married 1911 to William R. Coutant 2nd by whom she had a son, William Cautant 3rd, who married his cousin Mary Wood and they had two sons and one daughter. Mary Wood Coutant died of cancer in her 50's and William Coutant married again. He was for several years head of a military school in Aledo, Ill and Mary was his secretary. They buried in Aledo, Ill.
